Learning about new friends we meet is a fun part of our life’s journey. I’d like to share a little more about me with you here. I was born and grew up with my wonderful parents and sister in Pennsylvania. For many years in school, my teachers said I should be a writer. I have always loved writing, but as I entered college, I decided to focus on arithmetic instead. Since then, my career has been in Accounting and Finance. Eventually we all moved to Florida where I still live with my two beautiful children who are 21 and 23 years old. Together we enjoy life with our pet tortoises, Pickles and Squirt.

My family, and having a strong faith, are the most important parts of my life. Other things I really enjoy doing include baking, fishing, volunteering at local schools, and family game night. Even though Christmas can be the most wonderful time of the year, my favorite season is Spring. We have a lot of family traditions around Easter. I love to see everything bloom again and I enjoy a bright blue sky as much as a passing light rain shower.

In 2020, I decided to take up the pen and drafted the manuscript for what I hope to be a children’s chapter book series: Turtle Tales with Pickles and Squirt. Yes, our pet tortoises were the inspiration for the main characters in the book. My children are the inspiration for my first published story: 12 Months Equal 1 Year.
